The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government will launch a Social Housing Innovation Fund to support tenant-led projects that improve the experience of living in social housing.

Indicative funding of £60,000–£100,000 (with the latter being the maximum available) per project is available, and they are looking to fund around 15–20 innovative projects across England.

Applications will be welcome from eligible organisations including registered providers, TMOs, ALMOs, and tenant representative groups. All proposals must be co-produced with social housing tenants, and consortium bids are strongly encouraged.

Applications open at the end of October, and will close in early January.  Funding will be allocated before 31 March 2026.
