CCH promotes the excellent work done by co-operative housing organisations, fostering communication and serving the sector, and campaigning for quality co-operative housing solutions across the United Kingdom.

CCH Membership:

  • makes you part of our growing and thriving movement for change and community – housing co-operatives, tenant management organisations, cohousing societies, mutual home ownership societies and other community led housing organisations are about local people and communities developing their own housing solutions. More and more people are now doing this in many different ways.
  • brings you into the global co‑operative movement – it is estimated that more than one billion people (an eighth of the world’s population) are members of co-operatives worldwide; CCH is a federal member of Co-operatives UK and an active partner in Co-operative Housing International and the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA).
  • enables you to shape the UK’s co‑operative and community led housing sector of the future – CCH is a major housing sector stakeholder and is growing its relationship across the other nations of the UK.
