The training and accreditation programme has been successfully running since November 2018.
The programme modules are:
- Getting Started – exploring community aspirations, building community membership and support and the options for community led housing
- Developing Community Led Housing – exploring the development process, finding the right site, and engaging professional support
- Governance and Finance – identifying and managing risk, financial modelling and control, governance and business planning
- Managing Community Led Housing – long term management and maintenance of properties, ongoing membership matters and becoming a Registered Provider
