The National Tenant Organisation’s recent report An Investment not a Cost showed how “landlords investing in tenant involvement can produce financial, service, social and community benefits”. The report was produced in partnership with the University of Birmingham and was funded by the Department of Communities and Local Government. Reports can be downloaded below

The NTOs are now working on a follow up project – Investing in Involvement – to develop a commonly accepted basic framework to assess the benefits of involvement.

In January 2016, the National Tenant Organisations carried out a survey about the Investing in Involvement project and thank those who responded.  90% of those who responded thought that Investing in Involvement Statements are a good idea.  The full survey report is available here.
