The Community Gateway Association is a vibrant new housing organisation formed to take on the ownership and management of almost 6,500 homes from Preston City Council. Community Development Officers (x 5)
up to £23,000 pa
We are looking for people who are dynamic and enthusiastic to work closely with residents and community groups, helping them to influence what happens in the areas where they live.
You will have experience of community development either as a worker or volunteer and be committed to helping others make positive changes to their lives. You will be a 'people person' with excellent problem solving, negotiation and communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative but also be a strong team player.
In return for your skills and enthusiasm we offer an attractive benefits package including a final salary pension scheme. All salaries offered will be dependent on the skills and experience of each successful applicant. CRB disclosure at the standard level is required for these posts.
