Uniting the Co-op Housing Sector
12th & 13th May 2017
The UK co-operative housing sector has never been more united than it is now. More co-ops than ever are now CCH members. Strong partnerships exist between the CCH and housing co-op sectors across England and Wales.
The unity of the sector has meant we are weathering Government changes and building more new homes than our sector has for a long time.
The 23rd Annual Conference of the Confederation of Co-operative Housing is an opportunity for the co-operative housing sector to come together to discuss the unity of the sector. The Conference this year is being held at the Mercure Haydock Hotel between Liverpool and Manchester and this year, the accommodation and conference rooms are within the same building.
The Mercure Haydock is a Georgian mansion style hotel built around a central courtyard and surrounded by beautiful grounds. All bedrooms have been refurbished and the hotel comes with free Wi-Fi and car parking. Delegates will also have access to the gym and pool for the duration of the conference.
For those travelling by train, we are running a free shuttle service from Warrington Bank Quay on the Friday night and for those traveling by car, the venue is just minutes from junction 23 of the M6.
As usual, there will be entertainment for delegates – the ever popular Blisstocracy quiz on Friday night and a disco and live entertainment after the Gala Dinner on Saturday.
The closing date for applications is 5th May 2017. We will require full conference fees to be paid prior to the conference. The conference fee includes two night’s accommodation, attendance at all sessions and all meals from Friday evening to Sunday morning.
Please note that this year, the conference will close after breakfast on Sunday 14th May. We regret that bookings may only be cancelled prior to 14th April. Any cancellations after this time will be charged in full.
